Nirodhadhamma sutta: Liable to Cease

Nirodhadhammasutta

Dutiyamāravagga

Rādha asks the Buddha about what is liable to cease, and the Buddha explains in terms of the five aggregates.

Traductions

At Sāvatthī.

Seated to one side, Venerable Rādha said to the Buddha:

“Sir, they speak of a ‘liability to cease’. What has a liability to cease?”

“Rādha, form, feeling, perception, choices, and consciousness have a liability to cease.

Seeing this … They understand: ‘… there is nothing further for this place.’”
