Eight kinds of ignoble statement that misrepresent the truth.

“Mendicants, there are these eight ignoble expressions. What eight? Saying you’ve seen, heard, thought, or known something, but you haven’t. And saying you haven’t seen, heard, thought, or known something, but you have. These are the eight ignoble expressions.”
