The arising of the six kinds of intention is the arising of suffering.

“Mendicants, the arising of intentions regarding sights … intentions regarding ideas … is the manifestation of old age and death. The cessation of intentions regarding sights … intentions regarding ideas … is the disappearance of old age and death.”
